Foster Mama just opened a closet door in the basement. Next to an old bag of dog biscuits was...a live mouse! Foster Mama stared at it for a moment as it stared back and twitched its whiskers. She was wondering what to do, and so I helped her out by eating the mouse in one tasty bite! (She said she's going to be more careful about storing dog biscuits in the future.)

Does Goldilocks Live Here?
I'm such a funny little dog. (Well, really kind of a big dog - after all, I'm a greyhound.) There are four dog beds in the kitchen area, one each for me and the other three hounds. Many times I choose the little dog beg, which is intended for my foster sister the beagle. The people laugh at how I hang off of the edges. They just don't understand that I'm comfortable on that little bed!

Walk This Way
I got to go on a walk around the farm with Foster Daddy! We saw cows, the animals that have been making those weird mooing noises. Then we walked to the pond, where I saw a beautiful great blue heron. What a big bird! There were so many interesting smells everywhere. When do we get to go on another walk?

Sous Chef
I like hanging out with my people wherever they are. One of my favorite things is standing in the kitchen and watching Foster Mama while she cooks. Cosmo does this, too. Foster Mama calls us her sous chefs. I just wish she'd give us some of whatever she's cooking...

Yea! I joined the Jordans, my new foster family, this past weekend. They like me a lot. My foster mama and daddy are always patting my head and telling me what a good boy I am. I really like being part of their pack, which also includes greyhounds Cosmo and Mr. Spock and beagle Shelly. Shelly is glad that I tested "small dog tolerant," especially since she and I lay on the same dog bed together a few days ago.
The main thing I have had to get used to is the cows out in the nearby pasture. A couple of times when I've been out in the back yard, I've heard them moo, whatever that is. Of course I had to bark at that strange noise! Foster Mama brought me back inside and told me to be quiet, which I did immediately. I trust my foster humans to know what's best for me.
I'm going to make the best companion for some lucky adopter!
